The Duckworth and Lewis system was introduced to the international cricket well back in 1998. It has undergone several revisions since then. But the question on its reliability and accuracy still remains. In many cases the targets fixed with the D/L system has been questionable. Whether the International Cricket Council is aware that the D/L system actually does not satisfy more than a few criteria laid down by them remains a question mark. Here the anomalies in the D/L system is scientific analyzed.
