Yuvraj stars in India's win against Ireland

Yuvraj Singh's all round performance with both, bat and ball, helped India beat Ireland by 5 wickets at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Dhoni won the toss and put Ireland to bat. Yuvraj heeded the call of his captain with his maiden five-wicket haul (10-0-31-5) that dismissed the Irish team for a paltry 207. Porterfield (75, 104b, 6x4, 1x6) steadied their innings to add some respectability before Yuvraj struck. Though started the run chase on a shaky note, losing Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir cheaply and then Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Dhoni all in their 30s, but then  Yuvraj, partnered with Yusuf Pathan, to see through his team with four overs to spare. Yuvraj (50 not out, 75b, 3x4) and Yusuf Pathan (30 not out, 24b, 2x4, 3x6) scored massive hits to ensure that Ireland didn't do a repeat of their match against England to cause a second upset in this World Cup.
